Spiritual Gifts App Privacy Policy

Toast - Apps & Software, LLC ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Spiritual Gifts mobile app (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App collects and how we use it.

The short version

  • You can take the entire spiritual gifts assessment without giving us any personal information. Your answers and results are processed on your device.
  • The only personal information we collect is your email address, and only if you choose to have your results emailed to you.
  • We do not require an account, we do not collect your name or location, and the App contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.

Information we collect

Email address (optional). When you tap "Email My Results" and enter your email, we send that email address, along with your assessment results (your gifts and their scores), to our server so we can email your results to you and send occasional updates about Spiritual Gifts. If you never choose to email your results, we never receive your email address or your results.

Assessment answers. Your questionnaire answers are used only on your device to calculate your results. They are not sent to us. Only the calculated results are sent, and only when you choose to email them to yourself.

How we use your information

  • To email you your assessment results.
  • To send occasional updates and news about Spiritual Gifts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of these emails.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We share your email address only with the providers that help us operate the App, and only so they can perform these services for us:

  • Brevo (Sendinblue) sends your result and update emails and manages our mailing list. Their privacy policy is available at https://www.brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/.
  • Google Cloud hosts our server (Google App Engine), which processes requests on our behalf.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email.
  • Delete your data. To have your email address removed from our records, email us at support@toastmobile.com.

Data retention

We keep your email address on our mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above.
